Geosparc at Smart City Expo World Congress 2025 – Highlighting BEPROACT Interreg NWE
Last week, Geosparc participated in the Smart City Expo World Congress in Barcelona, one of the leading international events dedicated to smart and sustainable urban innovation. Geosparc presented its solutions from the Belgian pavilion, engaging with cities, public authorities, and technology partners from across Europe and beyond.
A central focus of Geosparc’s presence at the congress was BEPROACT, an Interreg North-West Europe (NWE) project supported by VLAIO. The project aims to enable smarter, data-driven monitoring and enforcement for public authorities by combining IoT, real-time data, and advanced analytics. Through smart data analysis, BEPROACT supports more effective protection of waterways and public space, contributing to improved ecological and environmental outcomes.
