BEPROACT Interreg NWE Mid-Term Event – Day 2 in Eindhoven
Day 2 of the BEPROACT Interreg NWE Mid-Term Event in Eindhoven started with a presentation from WP3 – Smart People, focusing on training and upskilling deliverables, followed by updates from several pilot case studies.
In the afternoon, participants visited the robotics department at Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e), where Tech United provided a demonstration of their work. The session showcased a range of autonomous robot systems, including their robotic football team, a walking robot, a robot dog, and other innovative models.
TU/e highlighted how formal methods and Synthesis-Based Engineering (SBE) can support the management of complex systems. The demonstrations illustrated how well-specified systems enable real-time decision-making and predictable, reliable behaviour in autonomous robots, underlining the strong connection between advanced research and practical engineering.
