The Luxembourg Institute of Science and Technology (LIST)
The Luxembourg Institute of Science and Technology (LIST) is a prominent research and technology organization and a key innovation partner in the BEPROACT project. LIST focuses on applying artificial intelligence (AI), data analytics, and machine learning (ML) to enable data-driven infrastructure management and decision-making across multiple pilot cases in North-West Europe. Their work is centered on driving technological innovation to enhance infrastructure systems, making them smarter, more efficient, and sustainable.
Within BEPROACT, LIST collaborates closely with Dublin City Council (DCC) on the Intelligent Transport Systemspilot, focusing on dynamic fault assessment within DCC’s Asset & Fault Management System (AFMS). This collaboration aims to improve operational efficiency and data maturity in urban infrastructure management. Additionally, LIST leads the development of an AI-powered Chatbot and heads the AI/ML Taskforce, which brings together experts and infrastructure operators to promote AI and ML adoption. This taskforce addresses challenges such as data fragmentation, quality issues, and legal constraints while fostering the development of reusable analytical tools for smarter, predictive asset management across Europe.
