GEOSPARC is a leading provider of web-based geographic information system (GIS) solutions, specializing in advanced tools for governments and enterprises. In the BEPROACT project, GEOSPARC contributes as a technical partner by deploying AI-driven systems, data analytics, and predictive algorithms to monitor water quality.
As part of Work Package 2 (Smart Assets), GEOSPARC is involved in pilot cases for water systems and wastewater treatment. The company collaborates with partners such as the Flanders Environment Agency (VMM), University of Lille, and Rijkswaterstaat on several initiatives, including the Water Quality Monitoring Platform and the AI-driven Water Monitoring System. These innovations enable more proactive, data-driven management of water quality by filtering out unnecessary alerts and focusing on critical ones. This approach supports future 'predict and prevent' asset management strategies, enhancing decision-making and fostering ecological resilience across water systems.
