Dublin City Council

Dublin City Council is the local authority responsible for governing and managing the vibrant city of Dublin, Ireland’s capital. It oversees a wide range of public services including roads and transportation, planning and development, environment and climate action, and community wellbeing, ensuring Dublin remains a thriving, sustainable, and livable city for residents and visitors alike.

In the BEPROACT project, Dublin City Council brings its real-world experience in urban infrastructure and city planning to support smarter, data‑driven asset management. Drawing on its work in innovation, transport systems, and environmental monitoring, the council helps pilot approaches that can improve how assets such as urban transport networks are monitored and maintained. Through collaboration with other partners across North‑West Europe, Dublin City Council contributes to developing proactive strategies that make infrastructure more resilient, efficient, and sustainable in the face of growing demands and climate challenges.
